I turn chaotic workflows into secure, high-availability infrastructure.
For the past 16 years, I’ve served as the Principal Technical Architect at Red Toad Media, engineering custom data pipelines and independent hosting environments for enterprise, municipal, and e-commerce clients. Now, I am wrapping up the agency era to bring a quarter-century of battle-tested full-stack engineering, rigorous database architecture, and strict security compliance directly to an in-house team.
My approach to web architecture wasn’t born in a traditional computer science lab—it was forged in operational logistics and tactical data analysis.
Before engineering web servers, I served as a Senior Intelligence Analyst (SGT/E5) in the US Army Reserves, synthesizing raw tactical signals under strict security protocols. I later transitioned into Solutions Engineering at UPS Supply Chain Solutions, utilizing Six Sigma methodologies to isolate bottlenecks in massive fulfillment pipelines.
I don't just write code. I look at digital ecosystems the same way I look at physical supply chains: searching for the most efficient, secure, and compliant way to move data from point A to point B. Whether I am hardening a Linux environment, normalizing a chaotic relational database, or building a custom MODX content framework, my goal is always the same: Absolute operational stability.
Architected a highly customized Magento deployment featuring a custom delivery routing module and automated physical fulfillment integrations.
Built a custom MODX architecture to seamlessly integrate multiple third-party APIs, unifying disconnected digital catalogs into a single, cohesive user interface.
Developed the QuickLearn enterprise web application for a major regional healthcare network, prioritizing rigid data compliance and secure state management.
Designed a highly efficient, multi-domain architecture running three distinct corporate websites off a single, centralized MODX core installation.
Led technical strategy, server administration, and custom CMS architecture for a boutique digital agency, specializing in data sovereignty, high-availability deployments, and open-source infrastructure.
Transformed a literal empty warehouse into a multi-million dollar e-commerce operation—starting from a freezing office heated entirely by the exhaust of my Alienware Area-51m. From that single machine, I built everything. I procured the bare-metal hardware, racked the servers, and engineered a complete Microsoft ecosystem (SQL Server/Exchange) to work alongside with existing AS/400 corporate systems. Acting as a one-man technical operation, I architected the physical facility, the internal UPS logistics, and the complete digital platform from the ground up to guarantee continuous flow without relying on corporate IT.
Developed custom reporting logic and built the division's central intranet documentation platform while conducting Six Sigma process optimization for massive fulfillment pipelines.
