Standard CMS deployments often force a binary choice: rigid templates that limit visual freedom or complex visual builders that compromise code quality. By wiring Bootstrap directly into FRED, I provided the "best of both worlds." My focus was translating established, stable HTML patterns into the structured JSON configurations required by the FRED editor, ensuring that every user-editable region mapped cleanly to backend data fields.

Established in 2001 on the outskirts of Louisville, Kentucky, Red Toad Media was built on a fierce, foundational paradigm: "Be who you are as loud as you can." Guided by author, educator, and visionary graphic designer Anne Sallee Miles as "Toad-in-Chief," the boutique studio rejected standard corporate complacency. Instead, the agency treated digital design as an exercise in behavioral psychology and strategic engagement—pioneering early frameworks in interaction design, user experience (UX), and gamification.

But a brilliant interface is only as good as the engine driving it, and the studio operated on a relentless reality: Anne authored the vision; Rodney made it work. To ground these interactive digital experiences, principal systems architect Rodney T. Miles brought a rigorous background in Industrial Engineering, data analytics, and E-commerce Operations Management. Having optimized massive, high-velocity fulfillment and logistical pipelines for global enterprise giants like Nike.com and Jockey.com, Rodney engineered Red Toad Media’s backend infrastructures from the dirt up. He specialized in translating complex, data-heavy communication strategies into clean, lightning-fast database architectures and custom web environments that prioritized absolute conversion efficiency.

Following the passing of the studio's visionary Toad-in-Chief, Anne Sallee Miles, active studio operations have drawn to a formal, intentional close. The creative heavy lifting is complete, but the artistry remains permanently alive. Anne's final, masterful web build has been meticulously preserved as a living monument to her design philosophy; this comprehensive history and collection of joint creative projects is permanently hosted at the Design Archive. To ensure absolute operational continuity, all legacy frameworks and existing client infrastructures remain fully supported, actively secured, and rigorously monitored under dedicated long-term stewardship by Rodney T.
