The Legacy of Red Toad Media

Established in 2001, Red Toad Media spent a quarter of a century engineering custom web architecture, secure backend frameworks, and stable digital infrastructure. In the early days, when we were first introducing people to the power of online storefronts, we ran our pitches alongside an image of a classic CRT monitor and keyboard with a single promise: "This store never closes."

For years, Anne championed that vision full-time with my engineering support, until I stepped away from standard corporate roles so we could focus on our shared digital footprint together. Following the tragic loss of my wife and brilliant creative partner, that quarter-century agency lifecycle has transitioned into its next phase. True to our founding promise, the work we built remains standing.

The Studio Setup

Behind the systems and the code was a twenty-five year partnership built on a simple truth: "She makes it pretty, I make it work." This photo from the Google campus in Venice captures us during the heart of that shared journey—a reflection of the creative vision and backend stability that built the very foundation of Red Toad Media.
